blk04gt Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 my buddy's 98 is leaking fuel out the top of the tank where the fuel pump goes in. i took the pump out and looked at the seal on there and it appears fine. i know looks can be decieving so i'm gonna grab a new seal and slap it on there anyway. any other ideas on what it might be other than that seal? ps- neither one of the lines is leaking BTW...
cranny Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 where you access your tank or where pump and return lines enter it is called a sending unit. id say if no lines are leakin than thats your prolem , that little ass o ring , lol.

cranny Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 jbweld actually works quite well , just used it on my buddies swapped integra. never had power steering hooked back up when he bought it. someone swapped it and didnt do a very good job so i been pickin at it with him. so a set of B16 PS brackets and the 92 teg pump thats supposed to be on the car , few washers to align thepullys up and presto power steering. once hooked up it leaked like noahs arc , lol. i jb welded the pressure line and put 2 new tranny lines and 1 PS line hes good to go now.
