as some of you might know, im workin at a body shop, and i purchased a c west front, kaminari rear, and bc side skirts which will be molded in to keep it clean. i know most of you hate body kits, and i do too on sols, but IMO this kit looks a lot better than lip kits ive seen, and its about the same height soo.... anyway, since the whole car is going to be stripped down, what do you guys think about me putting in mr2 side vents. ive seen it on some sols, its pretty cool, but just lookin for some opinions, good or bad, and yes i know i wont get any performance out of any of it.

im not sure what mr2 side scoops look like but I do know that the old school mr2 has this one scoop that goes kind of on top of the car and ends up into the engine (in the back of the car). you talking about those?!?

oh you wanna fight b16? just kiddin man.

im talking about the ones in front of the rear wheels. i was just lookin at them on a sol on cardomain.... dont really like them that much for the effort it would take to put them on

Mr2 sideskirts are there for a reason.. to have the SMIC sit there and induct air for the turbo..

unless you converted to MR its not going to do any good or look good at all.

how about we put monte carlo curb feelers on it too? hahahaha

r u talkin about the side scoops on an aw11 or an sw20? the aw11 are the older ones they had 1 scoop on the passenger side was a bit boxy, the sw20 has smaller ones on both sides, i have 2 aw11's at my house, i think the sw20 scoops would match the car better, but dont like the idea either.

TL, the scoop you are talking about is different if im thinking of the same thing you are, it starts up on the roof and goes down to the top of the engine bay? thats an aftermarket piece, not factory, but i wanted one for my mr2 when it still ran
