cranny Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 2 injector to 4 injector swap? if you mean splicing a 2 wire harness to go to 4 injectors thats most likely your prolem. sounds like you need the proper harness for your engine bay and maybe an ecu i dont know. if he didnt change the harness he didnt change the ecu. you got a good setup waitin for you though , you should ask bigbirdsucks hes got an lsvtec setup could prolly help you more.
BigBirdSucks Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 mine is cr-vtec actually, but same concept. you're talking about a DOHC non-VTEC D series motor, right? if so, the '89 integra distributor has more sensors than a SOHC distributor. there's a certian wire you have to redo, but I can't remember what exactly needs to be done. if you've conquered the distributor problem and it still won't start, look at what ECU you're running. it'll have to be an '89 integra ECU. hope this helps a little.

BigBirdSucks Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 well, the B18A1 came in the '90-93 integras. the '89 integra had a DOHC D series non-VTEC. just wanted to clarify.
