mrchurch117 Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 post youre REAL 1/4 times im trying to get a feel for the import scene
CleanGSR Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 SolLesHonda just got done fully building his motor and is pushing 300whp at 14psi and around 400whp at 20-22psi. SexyH22- has around 350whp daily at 14 psi and I'm not sure his numbers at 18 psi for the track. Neither have taken them to the track yet since they are really "fresh" builds. Anyway, those are probably the 2 fastest cars on the forum right now.

CleanGSR Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I'm not sure what his weight is, but SolLesHonda's curb weight is right under 2500 lbs.
mrchurch117 Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 I'm not sure what his weight is, but SolLesHonda's curb weight is right under 2500 lbs. iv thought about an import, a gn, and maybe a pos escort for a DD cuz the stangs gas mileage sucks. BUT im not gonna drive something slow and a gn is rather expensive.
SolLesHonda Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Not only that man, but my car is pushing 400+hp out of a single cam 1.6 for under 6K total. The thing is, numbers mean one thing, 1/4 mile times mean another. I am taking it to the track probably sometime this month, whe I can get some slicks/axles.
SolLesHonda Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I didn't forget about you. B16 was the one naming. xxscaxx will def. give most a run on here too. He will beat me while I have it tuned on 14psi. I don't know who has the fastest car on here though.
CleanGSR Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 thanks for forgetting about me...buttheads You burned my bridge when you didn't mention my del sol in the other thread. SolLes could whoop your ass in a race!!!!!! Biatch.
xxscaxx Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 You burned my bridge when you didn't mention my del sol in the other thread. SolLes could whoop your ass in a race!!!!!! Biatch. hahahaha. you baby. i was just kidding tho... thanks solLess, you da man. oh, and when my turbo upgrade comes around ( hopefully friggin soon) ill be in the low 11's.
CleanGSR Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I know I'm just messin' with you too. By the way, we've been enlightened. Did you know that your car sounds like a VW Beetle? Interesting ?
SolLesHonda Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Damn, when xxscaxx gets a turbo upgrade, I'll need more boost. I'll go ahead and turn it up to 25 psi to be able to keep up.
CleanGSR Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Yeah, the problem will be playing catchup cause xxscaxx will rape about anyone on the launch.
xxscaxx Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Yeah, the problem will be playing catchup cause xxscaxx will rape about anyone on the launch. yep, thats my advantage. AWD launches are insane. my car sounds like a VW beetle eh?
TLontheDL Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I am Vietnamese and I can run .25 miles in about 1-2 minutes. Not too bad but im a beginner.
blackdelsol Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I'm german and I can run a mile in 5 min. so 1/4 would be around 65-75 seconds? while we're off topic in case anyone has seen the weather reports for minnesota, the state meet for xc skiing just got canceled. we woke up this morning and it was -60 with windchill. so I wont be racing until tuesday. :S thats one reason I parked my sol.

90IntegraC1 Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 ooo red's, those are strong...go with marlboro blends 27's, they're nice i run about a 19.57 second 1/4 mile...except not today b/c my car went into the shop to do some major repairs. (Left axle R&R, new midpipe that doesn't rattle, shift linkage cables aligned, oil change, new oil pan gasket, new tranny fluid.) way too much money dammit
