03' Accord Collision damage, Honda Certified?

To make the long story short, I found a great deal on an 03' Accord EX V6 on Honda's certified car finder on thier website. When looking at the Free Carfax report, it shows that it has been in an accident:

"It was inspected at a collision repair facility after an accident or other incident. A vehicle inspection completed by your dealer or professional inspector is recommended."

First thing, what is this indicitive of? I know that the vehicle hasn't been totaled, but could this be a clue to a bent frame? Would a car like this be unsafe to drive? Does the fact that it is a certified Honda Used Car mean that it would be an OK, safe buy?

Thank you for any help:)

I would just take it somewhere and have it checked out to make sure everything is "sound". I would imagine any good size body shop could check to make sure everything is straight.

It is really frusterating that one cannot get more information on what type of accident it was in, minor or moderate, and under what circumstances...

Would the 150-point inspection for the Certification check for the frame? I would believe that to be accepted as a Honda Certified Used vehicle it would have to be in great condition. Is there something I am missing here?

I didn't realize it was a Honda Certified used car. In that case I would be confident the car is sound. If it was me and it had the 150 point honda inspection, I wouldn't be worried.

Is there any way of telling how severe whatever it was in, was?

"It was inspected at a collision repair facility after an accident or other incident."

Could this be a simple dent from a parking lot that had to be fixed, or a minor rear ender? ...Or could this also mean something severe, but not toally totaled?

Thanks!

I think it could mean either one of those. Bottom line is if it was able to pass the honda certified used cars inspection, then the accident couldn't have been too major.
