bowenguitarskater
The b16a is in the si (usdm) and vti (europe), and the b16b is in the type R (jdm) but what are the differences i no one is 160bhp and the type R is 185bhp but is there just a difference in the internals or is there quite a huge difference throughout the whole engine, all and any information appreciated, thanx. ..SSR..
B16B uses a B18C block. Same stroke. Crank has more counterweights for better harmonics above 8,500 RPM. Rods are longer. Pistons are different. Head has a good valvejob. Manifolds are different. Cams and valve springs are different.
bowenguitarskater
so if it uses a B18C block does that mean its a 1.8 (since the block is the bottom end i think, dont take the piss if im wrong lol)
