TLontheDL Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 any plans besides using your left hand or an american pie?
CleanGSR Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 My wife and I both have class next Tuesday so we'll celebrate this Saturday. She collects Wizard of Oz stuff and decorates the spare room with it, so I bought her a bunch of that kind of stuff. Probably go eat somewhere nice (Taco Bell?).
xalexjx@yahoo.com Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 yea going skiing with my girl friend
Trepid Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Going to local bars and trying to pick up on girls who are upset about being alone for valentines day... maybe it's fracked up or maybe it's not, it's just what a single guy has to do on this day
xalexjx@yahoo.com Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do...
SolLesHonda Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 My girlfriend is amazing. She thinks Valentine's day is absolutely stupid. She thinks that you should show your love everyday, so what makes this day so damn popular ... I agree .. we will still do things special like dinner, but not any hearts or cards or lame crap.

TLontheDL Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 idk. my gf is diabetic so no chocolates. probably going to get her a huge stuffed animal or something. thats too bad but don't feel bad. Really, who gets their so chocolate nowadays? Do younger people still buy chocolate for their so??? There are alternatives you can get her besides stuffed animals. Take her out to a park for a picnic and bring some fruits, whipcream,..and a trojan.
DJB98LX Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I wish I could do more, but no babysitter means no going out, but I'm a great cook, so I'll probably do that. I ordered my wife some flowers to bring home to her, and got her a MP3 player she's been wanting. She has no clue, which is good, cuz I always just get her clothes. Too predictable!

90IntegraC1 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 i'm getting her one of those promise rings, anyone heard of those?? We've been together for 2 1/2 years so it's about time i get her some form of ring. I'm only 18 so obviously i can't propose. I'm also taking her out to a nice restaurant and probably sneakin' some lovin' in there...yeah
TLontheDL Posted February 12, 2006 Author Posted February 12, 2006 Whats the diff btw a promise ring and an engagement ring?
Humphries Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 to promise you wont be with anyone but that person.. like a purity ring.. but the opposite.
90IntegraC1 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 the differance is that a promise ring is just a way of saying, "I love you, I promise to be there for you and support you." An engagement is totally different because I'm not tryin' to get married yet, I'm only 18...I just want her to know that I love her so much and will always care about her...i know this is lame but whatever, it is Valentine's day.
DJB98LX Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 you're the one getting her clothes? jk! HaHaHA! That's some funny sh!t!! Thankfully she's wise enough not to even try to get that crap for me! Once she did when we first met, but I set her straight! What's up with the eyes on the pants? I know their gay, but come on, I'd actually laugh in his face if I ever saw that!!!! P.S.- I'm sorry that you actually go places on the net that have pics like that!! Are you......? J/K

But I got her a big box of Godiva chocolates (wrapped with ribbon, three heart charms on it incase you need an idea still), a big comfortable teddy bear from Wal-Mart (they actually have the most comfortable animals), a Chrysler 300C Hemi hotwheels car ($0.97, inside story between us), going to pick up her roses today.
