mountaindewguy
like in my other post, i just got my LS engine today... question: i plan on using this OBD2 engine, w/ and OBD2 GSR head, and running it to a OBD1 ECU from a single cam civic (chipped and tuned with a basemap for course) and the conversion harness so i dont have to hardwire anything... but what engine harness should i use? the GSR, LS, or my d16z6 harness??? thanks! (im thinking obviously the gsr or the z6 because of the VTEC)
xalexjx@yahoo.com
the gsr as the d series harness is totally diff.
mountaindewguy
... not really, you can use the z6 harness. because it will be plugged into a d series ECU thats chipped with a basemap w/ the lsvtec in mind.

mountaindewguy
i'm prolly gonna use the GSR head...i dunno, seems they are more readily available... im not worred about a few extra HP. does anyone know what compression i'd get w/ b16a2 pistons and a b16 head? i know the GSR head is 11 something to 1... didnt know if the b16 was relatively the same..? SolLesHonda
B16 heads are super easy to find IMO.
