silly noob

the "hardest part" would be the dpfi to mpfi conversion if you have a DX/Std. model

Is that the single cam vtec one?

I have a Dual Cam ZC, and it was a direct drop in. We had to Jimmy-rig the distribtor(sp?) to work, and we removed the TEC device on the exhaust cam. That was it.

Now, if you have a STD/DX, you'll have to do the dual-point coversion. You'll be happy with that for a while if you do that, and it's a little cheaper than a ZC swap. Then later on down the road, you can do the ZC swap.

If possible, try to get the ZC tranny too. Stay away from the USDM "ZC", D16a1 I think. It's trash, and don't use the ecu from that motor either. It sucks.

d16a8/9 is equivalent
