95civ89sup Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 It is really a toss up between slapping a t3/t4 or a jr supercharger both have there upsides. i myself like turbochargers, I hate parasites but what do you guys think. I'm talking stock internals no spray .

SexyH22 Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 i think for sohc, a t3/t4 is too big. if you want a big turbo, stick w/ a t3 and just do a .48/.60 a/r. or even maybe a 60-1 t3. there plenty big, and you will get good numbers. supercharger is fun though too. turbo is prollly cheaper if you build your own kit.

..SSR.. Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 There are different sizes of T3/T4's. He probably had a poor setup for his engine. I'd go with a Garrett GT25R
CleanGSR Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Don't GT25R's spool up really fast. I've also heard that a GT25R is often better than a T3/T4 setup, but I've never had either so I don't know from experience.
91H22Accord Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 +1 for the GT25R my buddy has one in his d16z6 hatchback and that crap is soooo fast rips all of 1st , 2nd, and 3rd,...i mean....ripsssss all the gears..leaves patches and crap
