  1. It was my alternator. It failed the tests, so I had it replaced and the problem went away.
  2. Hi Everyone, You have a great forum here. I'm a first-time poster, and I hope that you can help me out. I have a 2002 Accord LX V6 with 53,000 miles. I have completed all of the routine maintenance on schedule. Last night, my wife was on the last 20 minutes of a 2.5 hour trip when the dash lit up. The battery light, brake light, brake lamp light, and all of the "door ajar"/"trunk ajar" lights came on and stayed that way. She turned off the AC (just in case), and continued home without any problems other than the warning lights. I checked all of the fuses, and they were fine. This morning, I started the car to drive to work, and the lights did not come on. Could I be that lucky, I thought? (Hey, it was 6:00am, and I hadn't had my coffee yet). After two minutes of driving, they started to blink on and off, and after five minutes, they stayed on. I made it to work without any problems (30 minutes of city driving). My first thought was a blown fuse, and my second thought is a failing alternator, but I'm no expert. I'd appreciate any ideas or input!
