Well give me your idea on this.

Well I was talking to my friend and he has a EF civic with a b18B1 swap in it but he never finished it. All is left is the electrical. He got a jumper harness for obd0 to obd1 but the current harness in the car has been cut, but he has about 2 more stock harness's. It has a p75 ECU. It is painted primer black. I am not a big fan of EF's but I mean still... All the mechanical is in order and swapped in. All he wants is 400 bucks but the problem is I gotta get rid of one of my cars for it. I love the 240sx and my del sol and I can't buy it and take the motor out and it has HASPORT mounts in it that are brand new, It would be a waste to take it out and not use them. What do you guys think I should do.

Hell for the mounts its pretty much worth it. I'd say find some way to buy it and if nothing else part it out for a nice profit.

 

I thought about selling the sol for it but I dunno... I have never been into ef's so I am kinda iffy on it. but the parts in it are worth big money and I get a good set up going for a ls vtec.

Swap motor to Sol, and part EF! DO NOT GET RID OF SOL! Biggest mistake I have made since selling my Chevelle! >_<

After your reading convo I decided to post pics. I am thinking about taking the motor out and parting the hatch.

After doing some researching... I think it has a b16 trans. Which is good. Cause the ys1 tranny is from the b16. I am thinking I will really pick this up and rip all of it out.

 

Yeah I thought about that too but then after driving it and something faster then my car I will want to keep it. lol. Plus I always wanted a ls turbo or even a ls vtec and I could just take out the motor and put it aside until the d series goes in my car since it is heading that way.

Well I guess I will call him and tell him I will take it and Strip the engine out and everything I need and sell the hasport mounts for some money. It should be plug and play in the del sol. So I should not have to worry about custom mounts but I wanna buy stronger mounts and looks for a gsr head or something.

 

Do you know if I would be able to use the p75 with a gsr head or would I have to swap the ecu as well?

 

Yeah I "thing" it'll be fine.
