B16SiR2Hatch Posted September 12, 2017 Share Posted September 12, 2017 OK bare with me but I have a 93 civic dx converted to B16 with pr3-2 head and A5d trans, mods are DC sport headers open exhaust specter short ram intake and ecu was modded to open Rev up to 9200. Ran for almost 2 years just fine without an issue. Recently it's started throwing code 17 and won't let me Rev over 4k rpm. Code 17 is the only code thrown but my speedo still works I still have full power until it cuts me off at 4k. I didn't think a vss could cause limp mode, just cut off vtec because the computer isn't pulling the right parameters. But this feels like full on limp mode. HELP PLEASE!
