dosanddonts
1996 Honda Accord LXPROBLEM: I'm having trouble starting my car. As soon as I turn it on, it rumbles slightly and then dies. Sometimes I can manage to get the car started, but only after giving it gas for 10 minutes or so. The few times that I've been able to get the car started, it runs fine from that point on (I can drive it down the street, stop at red lights, stop signs, etc. without the car struggling or dying)What I've had done so far: New tube leading off the pcv valve New coolant cap. The old one was broken. All new spark plugs. The old ones showed signs of oil deposits when we removed them. New air filter Cleaned the throttle body Cleaned the fuel injection system Additional info: When I took my car into the Honda dealership they noted that there are many small oil leaks in the engine compartment. The check engine light is on When I took my car to Belle Tire they said the check engine light was giving off so many codes that it was hard for them to pinpoint the exact problem. They thought the issue might be a bad air control valve, but they couldn't say so with any amount of confidence. I have NOT had this replaced as of yet. I have no idea what's wrong with the car at this point. I've taken it to two different auto shops and neither one has been able to tell me what the problem is with certainty.Any input would be appreciated.
