E_G_34 Posted July 24, 2016 Share Posted July 24, 2016 I have a b16a2 swap in my 93 eg , it was running fine for a few months until the belt tentioner failed aND the cams were way out of timing. I replaced the tentioner but now the car doesby want to stay on. I can turn it on and it idles around like 200 rpm and dies soon after , pressing on the gas pedal has no effect,it won't even Rev. I triple checked the timing it is spot on , spark plug were fouled (replaced) and dizzy shows oil seeping from the bottom , ( also found oil inside the connection where the engine harness and dizzy plug connects.
