Jes2169451 Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 My car I notice has a rhythmic clunking noise now, one that isn't what you would typically hear in some cars. It can drive with the clunking noise too I don't notice any apparent threat to my car just the noise being much more louder than your typical rhythmic noises from the engine bay. Along with it I notice when I startup my car my RPMs will go to the normal around 1,000RPM idle but drop to around 250RPM after 1 second of being on seeming like its going to stall and comes back up to a little over 1,000RPM idle. Now before any of this about 5 days ago I had a check engine light (See Picture for troubleshooting of CEL). The thing is before I could even do any fixes my check engine light turned back off so I ignored anything that was on the check engine light list, could any of the things on it possibly have to do with my current problem? Jes2169451 Posted October 11, 2015 Author Share Posted October 11, 2015 UPDATE: Checked all my spark plugs to see if they are sparking and they are, as we go to put them back in and drive again the car stalled out in traffic and ever since the engine will not turn over.
