Putting in a new engine, good or bad?

The engine to my 2010 honda civic with 195k miles crapped out due to sears not putting my plug in correctly and drained my oil dry and I drove it like that. I can get an engine with 95k miles on it installed for $3300. Is that a good price? Also is it good to put a "new" engine into a car that had 195k on it?

A new engine, even if it has 95k, is better than the 195k that crapped out. If its within your budget, drop that engine in and drive it. This time, bring it to another place that know how to screw in an oil plug!

Be sure the engine is compatible too.
