75k miles on my civic and the transmission is starting to go. (looked up the issue online). It's only a matter of time until it does and I need a way out, however, I'm looking into a full engine and trans swap. Will a K24Z3 motor and matching manual transmission fit cleanly into my car?

2002 Honda Civic EX - 4 Door Sedan. (Automatic)

I know I'm going to buy higher quality axels, exhaust, a motor mount and a new computer.

I also need to know a reasonable pricing range for these parts from between 0-20 thousand miles on it and/or 20 thousand to 50 thousand miles on it.

like has been said many times no need to multiple post, they dont live on here, and personally im not sure because like some other civics "not a expert yet haha" the engine mounts for automatic vs. manual is different. but i shal let them clearify fullly when they have time.

Fair enough. Just joined the site yesterday. Anywho, I think I'm just going to look for a new transmission for mine then just work the D-17 I have. A new cam and race header will bring it to 150-170hp where I want it.

k-series into that car... its a good bit of work. wiring harness, mounts (they make a kit i bet) shift linkage, custom axles, custom exhaust.

for a k-swap you are in the 6-10k range.
