Shaeman111 Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 So my dad was testing charges in my car and he ended up shorting out the transmission solenoid, and so the check engine light came on. but after driving it to autozone and back, i opened the hood and the upper radiator hose bursted open(ripped) and hot coolant came flying out.. do these two things have anything to do with each other? if so, what is wrong?
