i have a 94 civic with a d16z6,i bought it a few weekes ago and have been turning it into my project car but i have been running in to issues with it starting
it will turn over and will catch on one cilinder ,like its ready to start then dies,when i do get it started and its warm ,i can turn it on and off with no problem
i replaced battey, spark plugs, and, fuel filter ,
any ideas?

it also has had the vtec solenoid wires cut off,i belive the owner thought that might work as a vtec killer ,could it be that it cant start properly without that solenoid connected?
