Its started like three days ago I was driving along and then all my lights dimmed and the battery light came on I was like 2 min from house so went home and looked at the next day. Jigled the battery cables and it seemed to fix it.then today I started it and everything was dim so I jiggled the cables and it would get a surge of power and rev up and lose it imediatly so me and a buddy stripped the cables and sanded the terminals and connectors and started it and everything was still dim so I started to leave by the time I got to the end of the driveway the radio was dead got on the road and the heater blower died soon after the speedo died and the airbag light came on, then while sitting at a light the headlights dimmed and it started sputtering so I turned around and on the way back it started to misfire and backfire not to mention the steering was a bit heavy so I got it back to my buddy's were it died. I replaced both the battery and alternator 6 months ago so either it eats alternators or its something else. Please help this is my only car it also has 200,000 miles on it. Thanks

did you check your ground wire.
