Hey everyone, I want to convert to manual steering. I can't seem to find anyone who sells a manual steering rack for my accord. I read somewhere something about making it so that the rack is vented and it would work like a manual rack. Any thoughts on this?

im pretty sure you can loop the lines, but its not really a manual rack, why do you want to go manual rack?

Its really more of an experiment to try and eliminate parasitic drag. My belt came off the other day and I have been driving it like that for a few days now and its not bad until I'm at a stand still. I would also like to clean up the engine bay a little and removing the power steering would free up a bit of space...not much but any bit counts

yeah, loop your hoses if you aren't worried about turning the wheel, id recommend keeping the pump for when someone wants to buy the car...
