I'm getting my dads accord soon its a 97 accord I love the car but there's one problem for me.... It's auto I was thinking of doing a engine and tranny swap and converting it to manual I was thinking a h series engine but I'm geting from other people to do other one what would be the best swap and how much would everything cost I have about 5gs and I love this car don't wanna get rid of it cause its auto

If I had the tools to do the work I would but I do so I would have to find someone else to do it.....

motor and trans, 2000 bucks, fab shop, to change mounts and install, 1000, forgotten parts that need to be ordered, 500. replace all the parts that need to be done before the swap 500ish. so yeah, 5k should do it. thats very BS numbers since i don't know your location, or if you can get parts cheaper.
