I've got a 1990 honda civic and the engine basicly broke. A friend of mine is willing to give me their 1991 Honda CRX engine, and i was wondering if it will fit in the civic.

I believe they are the same stock motor that normal hondas come with, b16 i believe it is.
not exactly sure the trims.
They are both automatic. would it matter if one was a manual trans and the other auto?
and the CRX was in a wreck, but under the hood, everything works, so im getting anything and everything i need.

it depends who you are... building parts is "not to bad" for me... turning a screw driver might be bad for you...
