89 hatch electrical grounding problem

89 hatch si that whenever you put the car in reverse, touch the brakes, or turn the lights on it kills the car... i took the wires off of the brake switch and it stopped doing it for the brakes, but when i put the car in reverse (the lights) i think have a short and are shutting the car off... any suggestions

there is a short. but i can't tell you where. you will have to trace the wires.

is it dying like no fuel or no spark?

no fuel, like the injectors arnt getting voltage

you sir have a short. good luck tracing wires... id guess in the reverse switch wiring...
