Brand new to hondas in general. Picked up a 93 civic ex vtech for 500 bucks. Shifts fine showing a little tourque through all gears. Shift into 5th and it catches hard like theres alot of power, then a strong power band up to about 3000 rpm than its like theres no power at all, very slight acceleration but no power at all. any help much appreciated.

What more can you possibly be expecting out of a car with 120 horses with god knows how many miles on it. and being in 5th is just a cruising gear.

Sry if i'm coming across as expecting more. I did a full tune up on it, and now i have enough power to go down the highway without worrying about going to slow. I'm sure if i was about to build this up to be the rice burning POS everyone turns these into i would've had a million responses but nvm.
